When Sale Sharks tasked us to generate interest and a buzz about the upcoming Wasps game our instant reaction was that we needed to do something that matched or even superseded the Brian Mujati signing video. No small feat then!
However, after several days of blood, sweat and a few tears, we unanimously agreed that the punch line needed a poignant sting in the tale.
Shot on location at the Carrington training facility with one of our favourite Directors, James Statham, and with the help of Sale’s own drone, we managed to create what we consider to be a compelling insight into the intense preparation that the Sale players and coaching staff were putting in to ahead of this mighty clash.
Part of our remit was also to quash rumours that home grown talent and hooker Tommy Taylor was signing for Wasps, as prior to the game there had been quite a lot of speculation in the press and via social media. We think the ending should be fairly self-explanatory.
